Manchester Museum is recruiting a part time Secondary and Post-16 Science Coordinator to contribute to our award winning learning programme.

Do you love museums? Are you passionate about science and nature? Do you want to bring some awe and wonder into science teaching? Are you ready to shape the future of learning at Manchester Museum? …this could be the role you’ve been waiting for!

We are looking for someone to develop, test and deliver new science secondary and post-16 science resources and programmes that will support interactive, imaginative and authentic learning opportunities at the Museum, offsite and online.

You will use the Museum’s collection to bring science to life, drawing links across disciplines and in line with the Museum’s values and mission.


Secondary and Post-16 Coordinator: Science – at a glance

  • Fixed term to end-July 2022
  • 2 days per week
  • Salary: £27,511 to £31,865 pro rata, per annum
